Hush x Instagram →

July 01, 2020 by Luke Finch

The goal was to create a memorable first impression that demonstrates the company’s commitment to community and creativity. The space engages guests in both exploration and content creation. We celebrate content on Instagram’s platform as three-dimensional audio-visual experiences that also become a photogenic environment – an infinite loop.

Hype Cycle is a series of futurist films exploring human-machine collaboration, combining performance and emerging technologies.

These human-machine interactions from Universal Everything are inspired by the Hype Cycle trend graphs produced by Gartner Research, a valiant attempt to predict future expectations and disillusionments as new technologies come to market. The first film in this series is Smart Matter. It builds on the studio’s past experiments with motion studies, imagining a new form of collaborative interface for improvised modelling. More Hype Cycle films coming soon. Sawdust →

One of my favourite design studios to flourish over the last few years is the London based Sawdust studio created by Jonathan Quainton and Rob Gonzalez. They specialise in bespoke and innovative typography, brand display typefaces, visual identities and image-creation for clients such as Nike, Wired and The New York Times.

At the heart of what they do is a desire to create work that is both explorative and beautifully crafted. Above all else we retain a deeply rooted conviction to not only deliver design that is effective but that exceeds our client’s expectations.

Moniker →

Moniker is a San Francisco-based design and branding studio. This project was specifically created for the Designer Fund, an investment group committed to design-led companies, to create a set of posters for their Bridge Speaker Series.

The series invites legends such as John Bielenberg, Wilson Miner and Julie Zhuo to speak on a range of topics from design leadership to future design trends. "To contrast the digital nature of the talks, we utilized the tactility of paper and created abstract forms to convey key ideas from each lecture".
